Cycling while on holiday in Marche

Cycling is one of the popular sports in Marche and southern Emilia Romagna. The Giro d’Italia passes through each year; there is the Coppi Bartole International Week, and the famous NoveColle race – based round the home of Marco Pantani in Cesenatico. The area offers cyclists coastal or mountain routes; gentle inclines up valleys or muscle-streaming climbs; a plethora of places to eat and cultural sites to visit; intimate villages and wide open mountain panoramas. In short, this area of Italy is the perfect place for cycling.
