Holiday Activities for Children

Italians love children and you will find that they are very welcome in all establishments. Whether you are in a restaurant, shop, on a beach or in a museum, we have found with our children that they become great ice-breakers with Italians giving them the space and time rarely experienced in northern Europe.

The beaches at Misano Adriatico are particularly suitable for younger children. Very well organised, spotlessly clean, they have play areas, showers, toilets and restaurants all designed to make a day on the beach a most pleasureable time.

Just along the coast in Cattolica, there is much more for the older child. Shops, bars, clubs and the general bustle of a holiday resort are all there. Your teenager will feel quite at home! For those wanting quieter, open beaches, the beaches beyond Gabicce Monte at Casteldimezzo, Vallugula and Fiorenzuola are magical.

Away from the coast there are three or four water parks in the area and several other theme parks. Whether you are looking for children’s entertainment or to include your children in the things that you do, this part of Italy is ideal.
